JenArt Gallery has changed ownership and is now requesting portfolio's of artist wishing to exhibit work in our gallery. Please email or post a copy of your portfolio through to us. We will not accept drop in's, if we are interested in your work we will contact you.

Photographic Competition: Picture This
Brunswick St Gallery ‘Picture This’
Deadline: 4 July 2010

Brunswick Street Gallery presents PICTURE THIS 10, an annual open photographic competition.

Artists can enter up to 4 works to be judged by Karen Woodbury from Karen Woodbury Gallery, for the $5000 first prize, second prize exhibition at BSG and four further acquisitive prizes to the value of the works.

The show will run from the 17 July till the 29 July at BSG with the announcement of the prizes and official opening on Friday the 23 July at 6pm.

Deadline for entries is midnight 4th July - all entries accepted!!

Portrait Competition: Northern Territory
Portrait of a Senior Territorian Art Award and Exhibition
Deadline 1 September 2010, Darwin NT

The Northern Territory Government acknowledges the significant and valuable contribution that senior Territorians make to our community with the ‘Portrait of a Senior Territorian Art Award’. The exhibition highlights the achievements of older Territorians and encourages excellence in artistic expression.

An Acquisition Award of $5,000 is being offered for the winning original portrait of one or more senior Territorians. A People’s Choice Award of $1,000 is also being offered for the artwork that receives the highest number of votes from the public.

Entries are invited from a broad cross-section of the Territory community, including senior Territorians.

Entry is free and artworks will be on display in Parliament House from 13-28 October 2010.

Sculpture Exhibition: Gold Coast
The Sculptors' Society Gold Coast Inc., in continuing with its aim of encouraging the appreciation of varied sculpture and art in the community, is hosting ‘Exotic Erotic 2010’ - our seventh exhibition of art in all media celebrating love, romance, desire, passion, pleasure and a ‘walk-on- the-wild-side’. Normally showcasing the sculptural endeavors and talents of members only, the Sculptors’ Society extends a rare invitation to other fellow artists and all Art Associations in any media to join us in this exhibition celebrating these most basic aspects of the human psyche and condition.
